![]() ![]() ![]() They were both pretty busy and this happened to be one of the few weekends that they had off at the same time. Most of them were simple, but things that would take most of the day to make, Allen want to make a date of it. With the mess clean up and dinner ordered they settled in the living room and Allen scrolled through his phone showing Connor different recipes. This mess, as horrendous as it was had come from a place of well meaning. Which was an absolute disaster in this case, but Allen found himself too endeared to mind. There were very few things that could stop him once he had his mind set on something, odds of success be damned. He had figured if he did it enough times he would get it right eventually, which was one of the things Allen admired about him. “Then let’s get started on cleaning up.” Allen said as he stepped into the kitchen and rolled up his sleeves.Ĭleaning the kitchen took more time than Allen had thought it would, but Connor apparently had been at this the whole afternoon. We could do it together.”Ĭonnor smiled, “I like the sound of that.” I don’t have any domestic coding outside of the perception of emotions and the YK expression codes so I can emulate them.” He admitted as he reached to turn off the stove, “But since I am coded to learn things I thought I could figure it out on my own.”Īllen nodded slowly. “How about this we get all this cleaned up, I’ll order takeout tonight, and then this weekend I can show you how to cook. Create a plan to do something nice, and get so caught up on the what he didn’t necessarily think about the how, “Do you know how to cook Connor?” ![]() I don’t know how, the videos I watched didn’t tell me much, but I wanted to do something nice for you because you’re always busy - and I thought I could make you dinner so you could rest.”Īllen smiled at the sentiment, it was just the short of thing Connor would do. “Cooking.” He looked around the kitchen his LED rolling into red, “Well I was trying to. “Connor, my love, what in the actual fuck are you doing?” He asked with a laugh hanging on to his words. Standing in the middle of all of this was Connor doing something that would have resembled something that could have been called cooking if half of it wasn’t burnt and the other half wasn’t trying its hardest to be. Of course Allen had believed it as well up until he came home to his kitchen in absolute disarray, all of the smoke alarms taken apart and the distinct smell of ash in the air. Allen found that there was a pretty common misconception that androids were good at everything, even things outside of their base code. ![]()
